My real estate journey began in 2004 when I bought my first property—a duplex in Tacoma—at just 20 years old. Nine months later, the market crashed, and the property was worth half of what I owed. Rather than walk away, I got creative: I remodeled the basement, added bedrooms, and rented them out to cover the mortgage. That early challenge shaped my approach to real estate—resourceful, cash-flow focused, and built for the long term.

When the foreclosure wave hit, I started working with institutional owners and banks to reposition distressed homes for sale. I pitched banks on cleaning and renovating before listing, ultimately leading to partnerships that resulted in hundreds of successful projects throughout the Pacific Northwest. Over time, I transitioned from consulting to ownership—renovating and operating everything from scattered single-family portfolios damaged by Hurricane Katrina to distressed multifamily buildings here in the Northwest.

Later, I helped scale a tech-enabled private equity fund based in the Bay Area. There, I built and led acquisitions and dispositions teams responsible for over 1,000 transactions per month across the Midwest—working closely with local contractors, wholesalers, title companies, and investors to execute at volume.

Today, I’m focused on growing my own portfolio as a landlord and operator, actively buying and selling across Washington and Ohio. I work primarily with investors—owners of single-family rentals, portfolios, and multifamily properties—who are exploring a sale. With over 20 years of hands-on experience, I offer a practical, no-pressure approach to help fellow investors evaluate their options and structure deals that make sense both now and over the long term.
